Security

The following are details about options of this category, with which you can set one or more user accounts to use JReport Designer. See the dialog.

Start Security Manager

Specifies whether to enable this feature or not. For the first time you check this checkbox, you are prompted to create a user account in the Report Register dialog:

• Administrator
  Specifies the name for the new user account, and at least 4 characters are required.
• Password
  Specifies the password to login, and at least 6 digits are required.
• Confirm Password
  Confirms the password that you specified in the Password text box.
• Submit
  Creates a user account.
• Cancel
  Discards the changes.

Security Manager

Lists all the user accounts.

• Add
  Adds a new user account.
• Remove
  Removes the selected user account.
• Modify
  Modifies the selected user account.
