Cube dialog

The dialog is displayed after you click Cube on the system toolbar of the JReport Administration page. It helps you to create and manage in-memory cubes. See the dialog.

The following are details about options in the dialog:

New Cube

Opens the New Cube dialog in which you can schedule a task that defines when to create in-memory cube for the specified business view.

Preferences

Specifies which columns will be displayed in the current tab.

Configuration

Opens the Cube Configuration dialog for setting the maximum cache size allowed for all in-memory cubes.

Edit

Edits the selected cube task.

• Enable/Disable
  This option is enabled when one or more tasks are selected in the Schedule or Active tab. It is used to enable the disabled tasks or disable the enabled tasks. When multiple tasks are selected with some enabled and some disabled, this option shows "Enable" which enables those disabled tasks among the selected.
• Properties
  Edits the scheduling information of the selected cube task.
• Delete
  Removes the selected cube tasks from the tab.

Schedule tab

This tab displays the scheduled cube tasks.

Active tab

This tab displays the scheduled cube tasks that have generated in-memory cubes which have data and are ready for use.

Log tab

This tab displays the history information of all cube tasks.

Summary Information

• Total allocated memory for all cubes
  Shows how much memory all in-memory cubes are allowed to use. This value is specified in the Cube Configuration dialog.
• Total used memory for all cubes
  Shows how much memory are currently taken up by all in-memory cubes.
• Available Memory
  Shows the memory that is available for use. This value equals the total allocated memory for all cubes minus the total used memory for all cubes.
