Customize Value dialog

The dialog appears when you specify the fields to bind to a slider and click the Customize button in the Insert Slider dialog or Edit Slider dialog. It helps you to customize the values in the selected fields that you want to use on the slider. The dialog varies with the slider type: Range of Values or Single Value.


If the slider type is Range of Values, options in the dialog are as follows. See the dialog. However, if the selected fields are of String type, the dialog is the same as that for Single Value slider type.

Special Function

Specifies a special function for the selected fields. Available only when the selected fields are of Date/Time type.

All Values

Specifies whether or not to use all values in the selected fields for the slider.

From

Specifies the start value of the value range. If the selected fields are of Date/Time type, you can also click the calendar button to select the date. Available only when All Values is unchecked.

To

Specifies the end value of the value range. If the selected fields are of Date/Time type, you can also click the calendar button to select the date. Available only when All Values is unchecked.

OK

Applies the values to the slider and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Cancels the operation and closes the dialog.

Special Function

Specifies a special function for the selected fields. Available only when the selected fields are of Date/Time type.

All Values

Specifies whether or not to use all values in the selected fields for the slider.

Name

Lists the values you select. You can click on the Name header to sort the selected values.

Adds a value line to the Name box. To specify a value, you can either type it into the text box directly or select from the drop-down list.

Removes the selected value line.

OK

Applies the values to the slider and closes the dialog.

Cancel

Cancels the operation and closes the dialog.
